Artist's Description
School children living in the foothills of the Himalayans near Lukla, Nepal, are curious and not at all intimidated, by the trekkers as we start out on the Everest Base Camp(EBC) trail. They are our tiny squad of cheerleaders as we both start and finish(return 2 weeks later) the trek in Lukla. What a joy to see their smiles.
