Description
Two little girls,sisters, sit ,along with the drying corn, on a road in a rural Chinese village. This is a typical annual harvest sight in rural western China.
Woman husk the corn in their courtyards, saving the husks for livestock, and other uses. Then the villagers spread the corn out onto the public roads."Yellow" roads wind through villages as far as the eye can see, leaving room only for foot traffic along the side, or the adventurous bicyclist.
