On a hike in the coast range of Oregon the traveler climbs through dramatic, dense fir forests and old growth, often glimpsing the Pacific Ocean, but he/she can also find simple solitude, passing by ponds, streams, and meadows of grasses and wildflowers. This is a small county park by a pond with daytime use, picnic tables and benches. Coast Range, near Hebo, Oregon, Tillamook County.
