Artist's Description
The Marine Reserve in Belize seeks to raise awareness and protection( since 1993) of sea turtles.
Belize is the home to three species ,the loggerhead, green, and hawksbill.
Nesting season runs from May through September and is an incredible time to view these creatures as they often are more curious and "check out " scuba divers as a potential mate.
Here a green turtle rests motionless, in the coral, making a photo of interesting patterns, color, camouflage and underwater beauty.
