It is sunrise as we begin our last day of hiking on the Camino de Santiago. The sun comes up everyday, a usual event, but today it seems a most glorious event, the glow in a clear blue sky as darkness disappears.
We will arrive through one of the seven gates in Santiago, having taken the French (Napolean) route from St Jean Pied de Port over the Pyrenees, to the Santiago Cathedral de Compostela. There has been such a rich history, of people, culture, religion, and food all along the way. What a tremendous experience. Other routes await us as a next and new adventure
