Artist's Description
A sailboat moors for the night, tucked inside the reef along the shoreline of San Pedro, Ambergris Cayes, Belize. The Belizian Barrier reef attracts tourists and locals alike to fish, sail, dive,snorkel or just relax and appreciate the beautiful tropical waters. There are also major efforts and organizations focused on protecting and preserving this fragile environment and the many species of these waters. Belize, inland, also boasts rivers, pine forests, caves, jungles, and Mayan ruins all to explore, hike, raft. It is a country of great diversity.
