Two vendors alternate working and resting as they sell their wares
Kathmandu is a city of eleven million people, or more. In the heart of the old city there are mazelike alleys and life for the average person( or poor) is frenetic. There is traffic congestion, poor infrastructure, pollution, political and natural disasters. Life takes place in the streets.
These clay vessels are displayed at a busy Kathmandu market, along side the working potter, himself. His pottery wheel is turning in a makeshift roadside tent producing drinking vessels, jugs, bowls and cups, the basic, essential wares for the populous
