Description
A herd of Cape buffalo graze in the Ngorongoro Crater,a large volcanic caldera. The crater supports one of the largest quanites and diversity of wildlife in the world. The crater is a rather natural enclosure, and while about 20-50% of the large animal species migrate the cape buffalo most often stay, especially through the rainy season when green fibrous, nutritious grass and other vegetation are abundant.
